England vs. Croatia and Scotland vs. Brazil to Start World Cup 2026 Campaign

England are set to commence their World Cup 2026 journey with a match against Croatia. Managed by Thomas Tuchel, the team will compete on Wednesday, 17 June, in Dallas or Toronto, and will also play against Ghana and Panama in Group L.

Scotland, making their first appearance at the men's World Cup in 28 years, will start against Haiti on Saturday, 13 June, with matches to follow against Morocco and Brazil in Group C. These games will be held in either Boston or New York.

For Wales or Northern Ireland, qualification could place them in Group B alongside Canada, Qatar, and Switzerland, contingent on progressing through two rounds of UEFA play-offs in March.

Meanwhile, the Republic of Ireland may face Mexico, South Africa, and South Korea pending successful qualification.

The tournament, making history as the first to feature 48 teams, will take place in Canada, Mexico, and the United States from 11 June to 19 July 2026.
